Matt is the Lead Clinician for Musculoskeletal Therapy Services at a large NHS Trust on the south coast. He qualified from Southampton University in 2003 and has worked in the NHS since. He is an accredited clinical educator (ACE) from the University of Brighton and has been a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) since 2010. He also works as an Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP) in back pain.
Matt has lectured and examined at local Universities and teaches undergraduate physiotherapists on the management of spinal conditions. He completed his MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy and has interests in clinical reasoning, the theory of causation in medically unexplained symptoms as well as the concept of motor control. Matt teaches spinal manipulative physiotherapy and is a clinical mentor to post graduate physiotherapists.
